Stop making excuses for your ill-mannered child. He needs you for guidance because he doesn't yet know what he doesn't know. It's life and the school of hard knocks. With any luck, he'll survive it and with any brains, will learn from it.— April 3, 2010 8:25 a.m.
Unbaked
Two years ago, my business partner and I looked into developing it for a doggy daycare center. We asked what the building had been used for originally. We were told it had been a dry cleaning establishment and that it would need a toxic clean up before it would be safe for dogs. The empty Pep Boys store on Market has the same problem; gas and grease toxins in the soil. A Rite Aid sign has been there for about 3 years.— January 26, 2010 8:35 p.m.
The same day Kelly had rented us a home in Cardiff, she found out she was pregnant
As a young woman, I was pro-choice thinking abortion was nothing much more than a chosen surgical procedure. My feelings now are that abortion is very wrong. I'm not a religious person, or fanatical about the abortion issue. I've just begun to think about the child and how precious every life is. At least for me, I suppose this type of 180 degree turn is due to getting older. Life has become more of a miracle.— January 23, 2010 9:27 a.m.
I found Bigfoot above the San Diego River headwaters
Anytime someone wants money for proof of Bigfoot, Sasquatch, or Yeti type creature, I'm immediately more skeptical. I'd love to believe that these type of creatures exist, but why don't we find any skulls, skeletons or bones? Scat or living quarters? Wouldn't they be breeding and increasing their numbers?— January 23, 2010 8:42 a.m.
Ramona Will Have Its Green Jellÿ
THe photo at the head of this article looks like an elementary school play. Who's Joe? What or who's a Jumping Turtle, and who cares? Ok, I'm being facetious. I don't get why the posters are getting so heated.— January 23, 2010 8:34 a.m.
P.L.A.G.U.E. Targets Caltrans
Put new lanes underground, don't widen them. If BART can travel under water, cars and trucks could travel under ground.— January 23, 2010 7:43 a.m.
Watch Your Butts
As a resident of the SD Country Estates, I was and am appalled to be witness to smokers tossing butts out of their cars very soon after both the Cedar and Witch fires. I'm speaking to the irresponsible smokers when I say, "Hold on to your butts!!" Put a coffee can in your car and use it.— January 23, 2010 7:40 a.m.
