I began my adult career working in the Marines doing classified avionics for the FA-18 Hornet. Loved the people I met, not so much the environment. I got my Honorable Discharge and enrolled in The Savannah College of Art and Design. Made friends, fell in love, lost at love. Then things went very bad and I had no idea at the time why. Shortly thereafter I found myself homeless on the streets of San Diego. I got myself back together through a series of jobs. About this time the answer to all of my questions popped up on an MRI in the form of a brain tumor, a condition called acromegaly, that I had acquired while in the Marine Corps. "LIGHT BULB!"
An up-the-nose transsphenoidal endoscopic hypophysectomy in 2008 followed by some "Bruce Banner" gamma knife surgery in 2010 and we arrive at the present day where life is very precious and I am thankful for the opportunity to do this amazing project. I value truth, justice, beauty, and love as the more important things in life. You're either in that room... or you're not.
