Kona Kai relaunch
I have been going to the Kona Kai since I was a little kid. Think this is a great idea to have a music venue here.— May 16, 2013 6:27 p.m.
Point Loma High School film studio shut down during investigation into porn shoot
If this "student work" is of any good quality, perhaps these teen auteurs will use their movies to get into USC Film School. They are showing initiative by making good use of their new facilities. Director Chad Penwiggle has a porn name, not that I know that much about it.— April 22, 2013 7:53 p.m.
Former City employee who was fired for falling asleep on the job is suing the City of San Diego
Not surprised here. The chief distinction most of these city employees have to get them their cushy jobs with the city where they can fall asleep and goof off is-- they know someone in HR that hooks them up. Several of them that reside near me leave me speechless when I discover they managed to get their claws into a city job where they proudly do nothing for lots of (our tax) money!— April 4, 2013 11:44 a.m.
Jimbo’s to take Mervyns spot in Horton Plaza
This is great news for downtown residents!— April 4, 2013 11:23 a.m.

Do you worry about San Diego being the target of a nuclear attack?
North Korea is sick of all those people complaining about traffic in Coronado from the Navy. Hope they don't plan to do anything about it?— March 31, 2013 2:52 p.m.
Air traffic control tower at the Ramona Airport to close
This story seems oddly familiar?— March 31, 2013 2:49 p.m.
San Diego is a Target on North Korea's Attack Map
http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-948934 Don't feel too bad, San Diego. Kim (Crazy) Jung II also is aiming at Austin, Texas. It is surmised he is trying to nuke George W. Bush--now retired to a Texas ranch. Or perhaps the ruthless despot is after those annoying Austin hipsters who are insufferable? Maybe the deluded North Korean dictator wants to put Dell computers out of business because he is such a fan of the Apple Mac? Who really knows the mind of a madman?— March 30, 2013 3:04 p.m.
Vibrator giveaway doesn't appear to have swept San Diego
Maybe if those vibes had a strap attached to them, the "ladies" with a decidedly masculine demeanor or the lipstick brigade might have snapped them up? Or perhaps the employees at the Stingaree could have personalized the machines with crystals and called them "Blingarees?" Just sayin.— March 29, 2013 9:10 a.m.
