World Cup Fever in Mexico City
Nice post, and glad you enjoyed your football themed stay! It is meh-hi-co rather than may....but after a few cervezas it's all the same! To be honest I was a little disappointed with Mexico and their football fanaticism, or rather lack of it, when I came here. It's pretty much been my only disappointment. It's not that they aren't huge fans. It was my expectations - I expected them to be crazier about the sport than in my own country, that being England. Turns out I had no idea just how fanatical us English are.... I was in that mass off people in the Zocalo for the Mexico France game.
