Tijuana’s piece of Olympic dream likely over
Since San Diego can't even solve the parking problem in Balboa Park, or fix all the street potholes and bad sidewalks, how could it possibly think it could host the Olympics?— April 30, 2013 5:44 p.m.

Coco's Restaurant in North Park is kaput
Maybe the building will turn out to be a teardown, and something different (not an eatery) will go there. Time will tell. But empty properties like this are not beneficial for a neighborhood.— April 11, 2013 8:50 a.m.
Men are lousy lovers
I know it wasn't Steve Martin the actor. That was humor!— April 10, 2013 7:09 p.m.

"Papa Doug" backs a Bush with lunch at UT San Diego headquarters
I don't recall Irwin Jacobs saying that business conditions in CA have made it difficult for Qualcomm to prosper. An even richer billionaire, David Geffen, has no plans to move to TX. P.S. Friends don't let friends move to Texas!— April 10, 2013 12:10 p.m.
