What About Hodges?

I moved to Del Dios (Lake Hodges, west side) in November of, I think, 1977. It was raining then and didn't stop for months. I woke up one night the following February at about midnight to this loud noise just outside the bedroom. It was water rushing down the canyon right next to the house; the very dry ground was finally saturated. That was the day the Lake really started to fill up, and we then had a Lake view! And, of course, the property values went up about 20%, almost over night. :-)
