Chargers: Look at Petco Park Failure
The traffic is terrible to get into the Padres games, especially day games. I take I-5 south to Imperial exit and the slow lane of the freeway can be backed up all the way to I-8, creating a safety hazard. They should turn Imperial into a one-way street on the way in, and reverse it on the way out. That way they could get the cars off the freeway, but of course, they still have buses trying to get to the transit center so it's a complete mess. Why would the Chargers want to go downtown? They draw far more traffic and have difficulty managing even with the much better access at Qualcomm.— December 30, 2010 11:33 a.m.
