Tea Party Protests Upon Obama's Departure
The irony is that the first tea party was an anti-corporate protest. You see, everyone remembers the "tea tax" what everyone forgets is that the tea tax was proposed by moneyed interests in Britain on products in the colonies so that British-made products out-competed colony-made products. The colonists and tea partiers were pro-tax! They just wanted equal representation in British parliament so that taxation was fair! So, Tea Partiers just keep on reminding us that everyone should pay their fair share in taxes. It's time the wealthy who disproportionately benefit from American economy finally pay their fare share for the infrastructure they use to skim billions from USA economy.— September 27, 2011 7:05 a.m.
