Vote for your favorite Former Famous Neighbors theme song!

not to be construed as a negative remark re contest rules, the Pickers offering is clearly parody. it uses humor along with imitation protected by the 1st amendment as freedom of artistic expression. any casual listener will have no trouble discerning that this little ditty is not to be taken seriously. parody is fair use under the copyright act. artists such as Steve and his fellow pickers must be allowed flexibility to create new works that evolve through a transformational use of the basic tune, it in no way diminishes the value of the original work and in and of itself embodies a reflective social comment on that era. it is very doubtful that any rights have been trampled upon here so why not let the will of the people be demonstrated by the vote. Bob would have wanted it that way.
