The homeowners have our complete support. If they start a fund we are ready to contribute to enforcing laws against excessive noise--a benefit for all of us. It is clear that there is nothing Christian about the y's underhanded expansion and malicious disregard for the right to a quiet home life.

Dana, thanks for a well written and fact filled report. In a just world you will get compensation for the abuse of power by petty civil agents and if I were an attorney I'd be at your door to help. You may be reforming a bit of the system for all of us.

Forsaking Friendships

Right on Barb. And lets not forget the co-factor. Holding on to fake friends enables them to continue their bad behavior. They'd be so fortunate to be presented with why they are no longer real friends. I rarely have the guts to do this....

Party Poopers

Lets assume that pack of seven managed to get to adulthood without somehow learning manners. It is any favor to them to act as though there was nothing wrong with their behavior? Thereby teaching them that "all is well" so just continue as you are.

Poodle Peepers

Great story. I've always liked the poodle character but the hairstyle was off the wall. With all the poodle owners I know I can't believe it took this long to learn the logical reasons for the cartoon look. The remaining question: these dogs are not used for hunting anymore--why keep the ridiculous 'do'? (I think they look great in their natural coat.)
