Hm - still highly inaccurate bio on Betty. If you are going to Blog someone on the streets you need to remember there are people here in this small town who know her and about her history. Folks - she DOES wear more than "just red". I guess it was better for the visual in this fantasy blog that has been started. She does have a tragic past, but not that which was posted here ... it is merely another fantastic rumor starting yet again about this wonderful lady that has become locked up in herself from a single incident years ago. No - she did not crawl out of the desert ... To respect her privacy - I will neither provide her "real" name here, the location of her home, nor will I slander her with rumors of tragedy. Her history is like many others in the papers - her mind is what protected her thru it but then she never came back. I have photos of Betty drinking beverages that are not red - wearing clothes that are everything but red ... the red hoodie she wears is what she seems never to be without. Don't make it up as you go along to bring readers in. It is a disgrace to add a fantasy life to a true tragedy.— May 31, 2010 8:09 p.m.
