Eek Street
The incident actually occurred in the intersection of 9th and E, involving north and east bound cars, in addition to the handicapped. The driver of the car that hit the man was on his cell phone at the time and may have been running a red light. The car in the middle of the intersection looked like it had been swiped by the nose of the car on the sidewalk corner. Didn't see the accident in progress so I'm not sure what happened, but it was a mess for hours.— October 20, 2009 8:54 p.m.
