Great food and a killer atmosphere. Weird location for sure, though. A pleasant surprise in an otherwise crummy area. The lemon chicken soup is amazing!

Blue Water Seafood Market and Grill

Kinda pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Excellent seafood. I strongly recommend the calamari sandwich with chipotle marinade and avocado. If you get a salad or fries, it is IMPERATIVE that you get the bleu cheese dressing. Amazing.

Bangkok Spices Thai

Great, cheap Thai place in what looks like a converted Pizza Hut. I recommend the curries-- especially the Mousman (sic?). Any place where you can tell your server on a scale of 1-10 how spicy you'd like your dish is tops in my book.

Great food! The garlic chicken wrap is the bomb. No matter what you order, be sure to get lots of extra pickles and hot sauce.

Pizzeria Luigi

Best NYC-style pies in San Diego, HANDS DOWN. Maybe even the best pies in San Diego PERIOD. I like to go with the plain cheese or the BBQ chicken. Fun atmosphere.

Uhhh...I think SLAVERY set race relations back years. Josh Board you are a hack and an ignorant one at that. I love this part of the comment you left: "I hate the sound of phrases like 'going back' and anything like that. But..." You go on to talk about how blacks score lower on tests. So based on your logic, low test scores are a valid reason to send blacks back to Africa. I know, I know, you didn't mean it like that. Only idiots like "fifibutton" propagate that kind of racist trash. You are just obviously a very poor writer. Maybe you should examine how other factors like poverty affect test scores before jumping off to wild conclusions about the "difference in races." Most racist Reader blog EVER.
