Baja California economy suffers for lack of northern visitors
Armando Rogelio Lara Valle is right, I don't go down to Mexico because the border crossing wait is long. Who likes to wait 1 hour (on a good day) in line at the border, it's usually 3 hours. Holiday weekend: forget it!!! And yes, Baja Califonia residents do spend a lot of money on this side of the border. They also pay sales tax on their purchases.— March 22, 2013 8:10 a.m.
