Manchester-backed recall leader was sued by David Copley for trespassing
Editor: We've gone over 12 hours without a "Support Filner" story! We've tossed up every silly idea we can and i'm out if ideas! Do we have ANYTHING left? Reader Writer: I think i heard once about someone who doesn't like Pallamary. It's not much, but it's something..... right? Editor: No, it's completely pointless- but it's all we've got. Run with it! I want a story on this on my desk in 5 minutes or you'll get a Birkenstock upside your head! Reader Writer: You got it Chief!— August 9, 2013 5:35 p.m.
City Attorney Jan Goldsmith slapped with lawsuit for refusing to disclose public records
I didn't mean to discredit the Reader, it's purpose is clear: 1) to supply weed to the masses, and 2) to support the Progressive movement under ANY circumstances. To those ends, I fully agree with you, the Reader reportage is solid. And this statement is coming from someone likely more Progressive minded than most of your readers. However, I'm also a loyal San Diegan and a woman who will not support predatory attacks against women under ANY circumstances. Even by a (D).— August 6, 2013 3:12 p.m.
Sheriff reportedly plotting mayor's ouster got funds from Lynch, Blue, hotel interests, report says
I will gladly explain the funny part - it is the part where 20, maybe 30 hard-core Filner supporters still continue to use words like "fix", "plotting", "witch-hunt", "mob", and "lynch mob" - all to describe what the Mayor has both admitted to, AND supposedly checked himself into a clinic for just yesterday. I, and 99.999% of San Diegan's find it humorous that not even an admission by the perp will sway the last, tiny little handful of supporters from the truth.— August 6, 2013 3:08 p.m.
City Attorney Jan Goldsmith slapped with lawsuit for refusing to disclose public records
Filing a FOI request for a document is now = "Slapped With A Lawsuit!!!" Well, I guess if you can't report the news, just make it up.— August 6, 2013 11:52 a.m.
Sheriff reportedly plotting mayor's ouster got funds from Lynch, Blue, hotel interests, report says
Someone told me about the Reader being the last bastion of support for Filner, and I was suspicious. How hilarious to read this article and see it's true! Keep up the support, this just makes it funnier for the rest of us.— August 6, 2013 9:59 a.m.
