Loose Nutts deliver tunes ranging from mosh pit hyper to pillow talk mellow. Born and raised in Oceanside California, Loose Nutts is a unique blend of Ska, Reggae, and Punk. Established in 2008, Loose Nutts has gone through a multitude of changes to come out a band of raw lyrics and powerful music. With the melodious voice of Sappy Sam, to off-the-cuff riffs of Chris “Dabs”, to the intense drumming of Ricky Havoc, the smooth, serenading brass from Jeremy Cooper and the saucy bass line of Dario “Pork chops”, Loose Nutts will pull you in with their powerful energy, and leave you wanting more. With the release of the EP album Ear buzz in fall 2012, Loose Nutts has been picking up momentum. Playing with national acts such as The Misfits, The Briggs, Afroman, Buck-o-nine, Loose Nutts can mesh well with many genres. They have performed at such venues as Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas, Whisky a-go-go, On the Rox in Los Angeles, House of Blues, etc.
Dedicated to their craft, Loose Nutts is driven to get their positive vibes and original style out to audiences everywhere.
Loose Nutts, shake your butts.
