National Association of Theatre Owners President asks Hollywood to make fewer R-rated films
And no money shots like on Girls on HBO— April 17, 2013 5:15 p.m.
National Association of Theatre Owners President asks Hollywood to make fewer R-rated films
I'm for 'R' as long as there are 'no dicks' in it. 'Shame' was shit.— April 17, 2013 5:12 p.m.
The diarrhea of Justin Bieber
Time for some Anne Frank jokes... Irv Brecher style I can't remember it exactly but it featured Pia Zadora.— April 17, 2013 5:10 p.m.
Review: The Company You Keep
Shia don't deserve to share credit, more less act alongside Redford. Saw The Sting recently again, a pristine copy on TCM. That film ages like wine. Nick Nolte is a acting corpse.— April 17, 2013 5:03 p.m.
Trailer Park: The Iceman cometh
I think Malick makes some horrible films. Tree of Life was really awful forced emotion. To the Wonder looks like The Tree of Life Part 2. The Iceman looks great, though. Looks like a nice B gangster film. Saw The Master recently, well, a quarter of it and the rest in fast forward. Awful. Even worse than The Tree of Life. Two films I loved recently: Susana by Bunuel. That was great. Even better was DANTON. That was the best film I've seen all year!! 'Show them the head.' Andrzej Wajda, need to see more by that man.— April 3, 2013 10:38 a.m.
Marlon Brando: Reflections in a golden sty
Very informative!! Saw Mutiny on the Bounty for the first time last year. It was a restored print on TCM. 3 hours of Brando talking in a high pitch through his nose— March 20, 2013 9:49 p.m.
Gangster Squad = Gangster Goulash
It looks awful. In Chicago they referred to the LA mob as the Mickey Mouse Mafia.— March 2, 2013 5:49 p.m.
Say yes to No
I just saw Carmen the masterpiece by Carlos Sura. Laura del Sol gave me a boner.— February 28, 2013 8:35 p.m.
New rules for Oscar shows
I thought we were being punished for our outlandish comments on Oscar night. Somebody had to have complained.— February 28, 2013 8:32 p.m.
Ephemeral Groucho
Hard to believe, like Bob's head, the Marx brothers lived and breathed in Chicago and were Cubs fans.— February 28, 2013 8:23 p.m.
