Sunny Rude Receives Nuisance Noise Citation

Below is a link to a [video][1] from a resident of the complex where Sunny Rude was playing, taken on the evening of October 29, 2011. The resident did not attend the gathering but was harassed by police regardless after coming out of his unit and telling the police that they were violating countless rights with their actions. The resident was harassed by the police on the evening in question, the cops attempted to give him a noise complaint for asserting his rights, and then two police officers came to "*follow up about the noise complaint*" (which was never even issued to that resident) on **THANKSGIVING NIGHT at 9PM**!!!!! The police in San Diego are out of control and need to be curtailed. Please watch the [video][2] and speak up. $7000 for playing some music on a Saturday evening at a reasonable time is ridiculous and should be the definition of excessive punishment. Shame on you SDPD!! Do something USEFUL for the community, rather than continuing your business of harassing peaceful citizens.
