Secret Agent
Philip S. says: Thank you for getting involved. Four counterfeit $20's were used for a purchase at my store last month. Shame on them for targeting a small business!— December 19, 2012 1:19 p.m.
Davanti Del Mar
Suzanne C. says: You're right; Davanti Enoteca Del Mar is good, but the pizza pales in comparison to many others. In fact the same pizza is 10 times better at Cafe Calabria, my personal favorite.— December 17, 2012 5:33 p.m.
Cauldron of Flavor
Dan W. says: Have you tried their Ginseng Chicken stew? It's supposed to cure anything. I can't attest to that, but it is delicious.— December 10, 2012 11:10 a.m.
Best Dim Sum in Town?
Teresa JC says: WOW! I know where I'm going for lunch next Saturday!!!— December 10, 2012 11:10 a.m.
Le Pew
Lorie G. says: That was hilarious and touching. I laughed and misted. It is true that douche is pretty much the identical antidote to skunk smell. When Peanut got a full-frontal face spray, we went on-line and found the recipe of baking soda, lemon juice and peroxide, mixed with water. It helped, but the smell lasted for months.— December 5, 2012 11:14 a.m.
Authentic Japanese in Old Town
Erin D. says: Wow, thanks for the read and info, can't wait to check it out!— December 4, 2012 7:29 a.m.
Cocktail, Cotija and Corn
Patricia J. says: This place looks like it has a great menu - def trying for lunch as soon as I can.— December 3, 2012 10:25 a.m.
Cocktail, Cotija and Corn
Shani A. says: Thanks... so going to try this one.— December 3, 2012 10:24 a.m.
Crazy Tree
Laurie H. says: I LOVE that place! I've decided it's the best place in the world to see a movie, especially a new, very popular one. Sure, you have to plan ahead a little to get your tickets, but there's no being trampled by those swifter and ruder (is that a word?) than you are in the mad crush to get seats. I had a particularly bad experience with a Harry Potter movie where we had waited for hours in line to be fifth in line and still ended up in the third row craning our necks because all the little creeps behind us zipped around us as soon as they opened the theater. Never again!— October 31, 2012 12:33 p.m.
Shark Tank
Tina B. says: Great article, one that many of us can relate to. I used to stay in class during lunch when I was in the 5th grade at El Toyon Elementary in National City. I would place newly mimeographed papers on everyone's desk. I was bullied because of my weight. What made it real tough was that my dad was in Vietnam that year. So I'd like to thank my 5th grade teacher, Mr Bacon (yep Mr Bacon) for helping me get through a very difficult time. And thank you, Barb, for writing this article.— October 23, 2012 10:07 a.m.
