Creation of a Monster, John Gardner
Don, Enough of the tragic story about what he did to those innocent victims has already been told, that the animal was guilty and shall never go free again, ever. NO excuses for what he did, AT ALL. He should get NO more attention or any profit from it, ever. Boycotts can happen, unless any/all publishing profits go directly to the victims families. He is the example for keeping and using the death penalty in this state. Most local parents never want to see his face or hear about him ever again in this life, and wish his had ended like his victims did. May still happen in prison.— June 29, 2012 10:41 p.m.
Group Wants Out of SDG&E Smart Meter Program
The PUC should provide an opt-out option for SDGE customers, as it has for PGE smart-meter customers. Not that the tiny radio emissions are going to fry anyone's brains, but for the few people that actually believe they could, then the resulting physiological stress they may suffer IS real. The main reason PUC should provide an opt-out is RELIABILITY. Those smart meters have been shown to fail from just a software update by SDGEs own testing program. They are extremely vulnerable to neighborhood lightning strikes, and would likely need replacing after one, whereas the old magnetic standard meters would just keep on turning when the power circuit was restored. The Highwayman's Rig: Totaled
What is obvious to most intelligent observant readers is that the first two blog comments here are written by one and the same troll, using two different usernames. Check the dates of username registration, the semantics and punctuation style. Once that is determined, then consider the source of what tripe content 'they' may post here as extremely questionable. Often on online websites one person may make several usernames in an attempt to try to support his own attention-seeking tripe statements. Moderators are advised to check those IPs and remove the offenders posts as double registrations are violation of terms here and on most other sites. Equal.— August 31, 2011 9:11 a.m.
San Diego dating service doesn't satisfy
Instead of six words, there could be a limit of FIVE characteristics required of the partner you are looking for. NO MORE than FIVE! That would make the focus more on what really mattered and less on the trivial non-dealbreaker imperfections that usually prevent connection between lonely hearts.. Like that cute 30yr old woman with the 6 page dossier, most people carry a mental checklist of many trivial things with which to rule out another possible match. Guess what, it works! Most people DO rule out each other over something or other they pounced on as an imperfection, so they can say "Next" and go back home alone to their 3 cats or tiny dog.. Remember people ARE imperfect.. IF you want a human being instead of a canine greeting you at home, become more tolerant and limit your list of dealbreakers to the MOST IMPORTANT FIVE ! ! (determining those 5 can be the subject of another whole article here, which I could do if asked) Go home, feed your cats, sit down and think about what is really most important in someone you could be involved with.. Starting with CHARACTER...— June 9, 2011 2:02 p.m.
San Diego goes to smart-energy meters
Faust has much common sense. $650 million "upgrade" and SDGE won't charge us for it? I've got a bridge in Brooklyn for you... Just like the unneeded Sunrise Powerlink, SDGE tries to ram hardware down out throats and then charge us more. If they succeed in changing all meters to "smart", next year they WILL say it is "smart" to charge us more for peak period power usage. No doubts that IS coming. Shames missed one right customers have.. The right to glitch-free uninterrupted service. The new meters have computer chips with remote RF access. Has anyone ever had problems with their computers or cellphones? Happens constantly. Guess what happened to SDGE's test run installation of many "smart" meters in TierraSanta? A simple software upgrade was sent to them, and they all turned OFF! Whole area was power OUT for a long period until they could all be reset. No wire problems, was SOFTWARE computer problem! Who wants to be made MORE vulnerable to power outages without our permission? Ask the installation man about that if he says it is an "upgrade". The Equalizer— April 8, 2010 12:48 p.m.
