Finding It in Shoshone, California
Shoshone, on the south end of Death Valley, has a bunch of great things to go see and enjoy. For example, nearby China Ranch is a real hidden gem, with it’s oasis and hiking area. If you plan on checking out this area, I invite you to see our overview video of the Death Valley area to see what’s near Shoshone. http://www.backroadswest.com/trips/2011/12/a-tour… Cheers, Cliff Bandringa— May 11, 2012 6:13 p.m.
Hellhole Canyon and Maidenhair Falls
We found out that the hike up Hellhole Canyon was one of the most enjoyable in the Anza-Borrego park. Palm Canyon, behind the visitors center is nice too, but lots of people. Hellhole is nice a nice quiet place. Towards the end, it is a bit of challenge to find both waterfalls. I invite you to watch our virtual tour of this hike which shows the two waterfalls: http://www.backroadswest.com/trips/2011/09/hellho… Enjoy! Cliff Bandringa— May 11, 2012 6:09 p.m.
