Desert Inspiration in Palm Springs
If it's there, furnished, ready, BUT NOT open, I'd call that languishing. Or just semantics? But I am glad to hear that it's going to be open soon. Thanks for that tip - hope nothing changes between the mayor's speech and October, or I guess you'll be wrong for sharing that info. I'll check back with you to make sure everything's perfectly on track.— March 25, 2013 4:14 p.m.
Last Stop: Rhyolite, NV
I love your writing, Amy.— March 22, 2013 4:05 p.m.
Desert Inspiration in Palm Springs
This definitely makes me want to head out to Palm Springs! I've only been to San Diego, which is gorgeous as it is (hello - flowers everywhere!) but I would love to explore California more. Congrats on your new book Ed - your website says you are on a book tour! Maybe we will see each other in Palm Springs one day. :)— March 22, 2013 3:53 p.m.
NOLA: Voodoo and the Spirit of the Hurricane
"On our way back to shore, we passed buckled homes slipping into the bayou, upturned shrimp boats and crab-catchers left to rot. The swamp was fun, but it was more interesting to see the real ghosts of New Orleans among the murky reeds." I've yet to visit NOLA, but this makes me want to take the road less traveled there, for sure.— February 24, 2013 11:44 a.m.
