Major Dennis Copson has adopted two maxims as a result of his recent adventure in editing, co-writing, and assisting in publishing a major nonfiction book—more than 200,000 words in length—chronicling the life of an individual who quit high school to enlist in the United States Marine Corps, was awarded the Silver Star Medal for heroism as a Sgt in Vietnam, and ultimately retiring as a Colonel after nearly thirty-six years of service to his country. Colonel Jim Bathurst's long and distinguished career is documented in "We'll All Die As Marines: One Marine's Journey From Private To Colonel," now proudly displayed and sold in the gift shops of the #2 museum in the United States (according to YELP)--National Museum of the Marine Corps at Quantico, Va.—and the #17 rated museum also--The USS Midway Museum in San Diego, Ca. The book is also a brisk seller and available online in more than 14 book stores including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, eBay, etc.
"I am not Mr. Nice Guy—I'm an editor, dammit!"
"I don't write 'em; I only edit 'em!"
According to Dennis Copson, "Being selected as the editor of the Colonel's book was one of the highlights of my life in so many ways."
