Bio: I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1968 and moved to San Diego, California when I was 5 years old. You could say I had your average middle class childhood. Nothing exciting. In 1990 I was offered a chance to be an Apprentice I jumped at the chance. I began my Apprenticeship under Kinzie Bolson at Big City Tattoo in 1993. The agreed upon term of the apprenticeship was 5 years, but I ended up sticking around for 11 years and became the General Manager for the Company. I learned many great things about Tattooing and Business while with Big City Tattoo, and had the opportunity to travel to Conventions in So Cal and even Sweden for the 9th International Tattoo Expo. But alas things change and time marches on, So I Moved to : Body Marks Tattoo in San Diego. After a few months I have now (2006) opened my own shop, Tat2fiend. I look forward to learning more about my craft with a new group of people and having a great year. If you're in the area stop by the shop and check it out.
