Is pizza going up-market?
It sure looks it here. Jes’ popped in around nine at night. Place looked so danged enticing, what with its little white portico and red barn paint job. And they kinda promise pizza as, like, something to go with your wine.
Nice and woody inside, chocolate walls, lots of hanging glasses, shiny granite sit-up counter. Actually, pretty upmarket wine-barish.
Startin’ to sweat a little. May be over my head. But Dustin gives me a menu and I see the pizzas are pretty dang reasonable. Entry-level 10-inch pizza with “house made sauce” and mozzarella is $7.50. Sausage, peppers, onions, and jalapeños is $9.50.
