I am a big supporter of "mom and pop places." I had seen this place from the boardwalk a number of times. I knew I had to check it out sometime. I was going down the boardwalk when someone asked me if I had been there yet. I replied, "no but I want to." They told me all about the homemade this and that, the gelato and on and on. They seemed a bit over the top but I had to know for myself......OH SNAP!!!!! This is a mother and son operation that does it right. I do not live in the area but I wish I had one in my neighborhood. I had the Spicy Italian and my son had the Banger. We both loved them. PLEASE DO NOT FORGET THE CHIPS. They are cut fresh and fried in rice oil. I have never heard of rice oil but I want some so I can make these at home. The Mad Dog sauce is "it." It is soooo good. I don't remember either of their names but I will not forget the food. Please go check it out and please tell a friend if you like it. With so many family operations coming and going, I hope they make it. They are so personable. If nothing else,at least wave "hello" on your way to your greasy same old same old corporate bull spit.
