It’s hidden all right. Even its big “CAFÉ” sign is covered in vines. It’s an ex-single-car garage that has been standing since 1892, now converted to a tiny eatery. Breakfast is the deal here. Bite into their California French toast: Hawaiian bread dipped in orange-zest batter, with brown sugar and butter. Good plump omelets. Whatever you order, make sure a side of green-onion potato pancakes comes with them. Outstanding.
