Great tasting food, quickly, at a good price. This place is an off-shoot of former Coronado standout Deli-By-The-Bay. The owners, Janice and David, have been in the restaurant business for many years and their latest venture does not disappoint. They offer a wide variety of deli fare including homestyle sandwiches, hamburgers, salads, and breakfast dishes like omelettes. The prices are much more reasonable compared to chain restaurants like Submarina, Subway, or Grab and Go. They have a nice indoor seating area with 50's diner style decor as well as several outdoor patio tables. There is ample parking and it is well situated just a few blocks off the 8 freeway across the street from the Home Depot. It is only open on the weekdays so if you are in the area and looking for a place to have lunch, give it a try.

Food is great for the value. Sandwiches offer much more meat than your garden variety sandwich shop, splitting with a friend is a great way to save. I highly recommend calling your order in ahead for the least amount of wait. This place is starting to be discovered for lunch time dining and if you haven't put in a ahead, you could be stuck with a short wait. Overall, for the tasty eats and healthy options, it's a welcomed change to a neighborhood full of fast food.
