Everyday we’re confronted with a large array of situations, some good, some bad, some we can’t even decide whether it’s good or bad, and we don’t know if we’re making any progress. It gets to the point where we wonder if there is any meaning to living this life. The roller coaster of ups and downs seems to tear us apart. And we struggle to survive. We ask, “What kind of God would put us to the test so severely that we’re in a constant state of turmoil? Why can’t things just work out? Why isn’t there peace? Why this constant state of uncertainty?” Therein lays our conundrum. What is the meaning of life? We seek for answers everywhere and we’re still left wondering, is there an answer? There is an answer. The answer is we’ll all be resurrected to inherit an eternal life. We’ll all be raised to have an immortal body in which we’ll live forever. We will all be restored even down to the hairs on our head. The question then becomes how will we live in eternal life? The answer is we’ll live in love through Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior. If that’s how we’ll live in eternal life, then that is how we should live today. Our meaning of life revolves around the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Word. We study His word to know how we should live with one another. The ups and downs of life are a challenge to us to show we can indeed keep His word in our hearts always. If we can overcome the evils of this world through love, then certainly we can live in eternity with love. The love of Jesus must reside in our hearts always and let His word guide us in all we do. Life is beautiful. Life is love through Jesus.
