East Village Tavern and Bowl
Big, noisy sports bar/bowling alley with creative pub grub until 2 a.m. nightly. Imagine three New York strip steaklets, caramelized onions, and melting Gorgonzola tucked into a Hawaiian sweet bun. Or try a Panino Cubano or herb-brined chicken wings. Inexpensive.

This is a great place to go if you have guests from out of town. The whole novelty of a bowling alley, and lots of sports on the big screens while you eat, is kind of interesting.
Great selection of appetizers and items you'd see at most sports bars.
I hadn't bowled since I was a kid. I had to roll a few games here to see what it was like. I don't think my score improved from when I was 10!
