St. Tropez in Hillcrest is not only a cozy little restaurant but offers friendly personal service. French, yes and more. The waiters and waitresses are international usually with accents. I started going to St. Tropez in Hillcrest this year and have dropped by with friends or business associates on occasion ever since.
The unique atmosphere includes sidewalk seating if so desired and the décor is quite original and even leans on Leonardo Da Vinci with ceiling frescos of sorts. Original paintings on the walls add to the unique atmosphere. The waiters and waitresses are so personal and friendly and always willing to make your visit most pleasant. If you speak French or some other language then you might be in for a treat. I remember one of our first visits there where the owner actually was there and talking to us. He ended up giving us each a free dessert.
The menu is exceptional also, usually can’t see the cook but I am so impressed with the service and fine quality of food. Included in the menu are sandwiches and a wonderful selection of breakfast items which I believe are available most of the day. Their soups are original and wonderful, you have to try their soup, sandwich and salad entrée, what a deal for the price. A wonderful selection of salads is also available along with crepes and quiches, Panini and don’t forget the kids menu. By the way St. Tropez is not stingy with giving you enough to satisfy your appetite, I have never had a complaint. Their menu also includes an assortment of bakery and pastry items. To drink you have beer, wine, coffee and a large assortment of teas, hot or cold.
Quite reasonable pricing makes St. Tropez in Hillcrest the place to drop by for a very pleasant and tasty experience. Personally I can’t wait till my next visit.
