High Tea at the Adolphus Hotel - mmm, mmm, good! It is doubtful that beer Baron Adolphus Busch had tea time in mind when he built Dallas’s Adolphus Hotel in 1912 but he provided a virtually perfect place for the British polished manner of serving afternoon tea accompanied by various sandwiches(customarily cucumber, egg and cress, fish paste, ham, and smoked salmon), scones with butter, clotted cream and jam, cakes and pastries and fresh fruit.
