My name is Christina and I'm 35 years old. I am a native to San Diego and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. My tattoo was done by Kirk Alley who I met on the Queen Mary during the Ink & Iron Convention. I work in the Biotech industry with a company researching regenerative medicine for dogs. My Buddha was done in 2013. I wanted to create a soft feminine like profile coming through a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I have always felt a connection to the philosophies of Buddhism. It has always come natural to me to be a listener, be empathetic and strive for understanding. When I was searching for the right combination for this piece I realized that after it was all drawn up, this piece captured exactly how I feel in regards to seeking a level of calmness, contentment and enlightenment. I like the softness of the colors that give more of a feminine feeling of nurture.
