Well....its the story of that life changing year I spent hanging around the hospital fighting to recover .... So above is a cherry tree branch (cherry tree symbolizes death and rebirth) that holds a gong ( that calls together people) the gong is a salamander ( courage, renew, resurrection, balance) the writing in the middle is Korean for han ( han culturally is a complex set of emotions tied to suffering and the desire to persevere) and below that are the earths elements of land water and fire. a samurai sword its tip wrapped hangs to the right ready to bang the gong as it did once before…… So a jumbled up set of circumstances and a desire to have the tale told not only by the scars but this tattoo made me do it….
