St. Barbara Painting with the Panorama of Poznan (Basilica Minor, the St. Stanislaus the Bishop and the Martyr Church, Mother of God of Perpetual Help and St. Mary Magdalene Sanctuary, Collegiate Parish Church / Fara of Poznan). A painting shows the Wroclaw Gate, the Jesuit church and College, the towers of both the former Collegiate church and the City Hall. The 90-meter basilica tower together with the City Hall spire bulked large in the panorama of the medieval city. The large size St. Mary Magdalene basilica had 52 altars, 18 chapels, a two-storied tradesman chapel, and a 22-meter high altar. In 1802 the Collegiate (Fara elevated to the collegiate status in 1471) was pulled down by the Prussians.
