Surviving Fragments of the Walls in Poznan. The medieval walls were demolished when the city expanded in the early 19th century. The surviving sections of walls can be seen in the Chopin Park in the south and on the Pond Street in the north. A bastion in the picture from the city wall system stands on the Stableman Street.
