2011 Franciscan Fair in Poznan. After the indulgence celebration, scientific conferences, and numerous church services in honor of Our Lady of Poznan (place of worship in Franciscan Church), the holidays ended in a good-humored fair. Here are some cultural events presented on September 16-18: illusionist shows for children, oriental belly dances, oriental dances with scarves, a duet playing Scottish bagpipe music, ancient dances performed by dancers from the Old Dance Ensemble ‘Courtiers’, Stonehenge concert, Castle Dreams’ duo concert, Medieval & Celtic Band Stout concert, serpent-charmer group shows, individual and team medieval tourneys. Everything went according to the general program in good weather. The events ended with a church procession of ladies and knights. The weather broke on Sunday evening; the heavy rain was coming down overnight.
