Old Town Temecula sports a lot of delicious restaurants. Some are old, some are brand new. One of the oldest buildings in Temecula houses The Bank Mexican Restaurant and Bar. The building is the original location of the First National Bank of Temecula, hence the name, which was founded in 1914. The bank closed in the 1940s and the building had several owners over the years, but the restaurant has been serving hungry locals and tourists as a Mexican eatery since 1978.

I've eat here nearly every time I pass through Temecula to get to Palm Springs. I had no idea it's been a Mexican restaurant for OVER 30 YEARS! Thought that was a recent development. Thanks for the info, Mango.
