Does anyone know why Point Loma Coin Laundry (2926 Adrian St) smells like human feces? Serious question. Is there a solid waste management facility in the area, or an open sewer? Not the ideal smell when you're trying to clean your laundry, so just wondered if anyone had any thoughts on this one.

Brush fire on side of Nimitz Boulevard Man and dog leave with police
Police officers and firefighters arrived on the west side of Nimitz Boulevard near West Point Loma Boulevard at around 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30.
A man was sitting on the side of the road with his dog. Behind them, a steep bank that falls away from the Ocean Beach Community Garden was blackened and charred.
At first, two SDPD officers lit up their squad cars’ lights and were seen interviewing the man. Soon, a fire department captain pulled up and began taking pictures of the area and making notes. Eventually, the man and his dog were taken away in the back of one of the patrol cars.

I don't know what this was all about, but I saw 3 U.S. Marshals on Scott Rd Friday morning in heavy Kevlar vests talking to two plainclothes guys. When I id'd myself as a writer for the Reader, they wouldn't talk to me. Got some pics, and they were still there 45 minutes later when I drove by again.

STOLEN SURBOARD 6.6 pintail - Epoxy -Red and White - Pancho Sullivan
Posted: (03/03)
THIS BOARD HAS BEEN STOLEN FROM ME ON March 3, 2013 at SUNSET CLIFF. PANCHO SULLIVAN, 6.6" pintail, red and white, sticker that reads "Wave Loch" While surfing Abs my leash snap, my board washed up on the beach when a guy, approximate 5.8 ft. tall, white, grabbed it and ran off. By the time I swam to the shore, him and board were long gone. If you run into my surfboard, I would much appreciate if you can please let me know. 619.379.6879 Here you can see some pictures http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/spo/3657374951.html
