Well here’s a little story bout the place I call home. It has a Lindo Lake, and a rodeo, casino stop. Dos Sombreros, a Dairy Queen, little Vons, and don’t forget Albertos. Y’all come on down. 67 North that is!!!

Just curious how fellow Lakeside residents feel about the new Starbucks that opened on Wintergardens? There's no doubt that Lakeside could use a facelift, but is infusing it w/ businesses such as Starbucks the way to go?

Chicken manure - closer to town than Ramona
After I discovered the $10/pick-up load ranch in Ramona (see Ramona Holler, April 15), friends in La Mesa said they could get pick-up load for $20 in Lakeside - closer to L.M.
Hilliker's Egg Ranch, 11329 El Nopal Rd. in Lakeside is their preferred supplier.
