Explore animal eggs, discover changes in the sea by designing your own plankton, create a shark-egg craft, and participate in an underwater egg hunt. Entry fee included with admission. Also on Friday.

Taste of Navajo

Attendees will be able to enjoy “tastes and sips” from 15 neighborhood favorites, celebrating the unique flavors of the Navajo community (Allied Gardens, Del Cerro, Grantville, San Carlos) and beyond. Guests may view the night sky through a telescope with the help from an onsite astronomer.

Grossmont College instructor Raul Sandelin chronicles the early life and times of Lester Bangs, “the great gonzo journalist, gutter poet, and romantic visionary of rock criticism.” Sandelin will host a Q&A session after the film.
