San Diego Int'l Boat Show

More than 100 vessels, from entry-level family cruisers and personal watercraft to luxury motor and sailing yachts, plus an expanded selection of super-yachts, will be docked in the marina and parked on land for visitors to browse, board, and buy. With food, beverages, and live entertainment.

Wine, Cheese, & Chocolate Festival

Wine tastings from 40 vintners, cheese and chocolate samplings from local chefs and manufacturers, and live music from San Diego’s Queen of Boogie Woogie, Sue Palmer. Benefits the community work of the Women’s Museum.

Local and national artists will showcase their work in painting, sculpture, photography, glass, jewelry, ceramics, wood, fiber, and mixed media. With food, fine wine, and craft beer. American Idol finalist Casey Abrams performs Saturday. Also on Sunday.

Nuno Felted Scarf

Combine silk and merino wool to create a scarf. Making felt requires standing and some exertion to mat — condensing and pressing the roving into a non-woven cloth. The finished piece is approximately 18x90 inches. Please bring a bath towel. All levels of creative ability are welcome.
