Detroit-area media are reporting that the bankrupt city is trying to $82 million in unpaid parking tickets, including late fees and court costs.

The media list nine egregious offenders. One is Michelle Marlo-Klims of San Diego, who reportedly owes Detroit more than $11,000.

San Diego, as well as any form of government -- knows that motor vehicles are GOLD to its form of revenue. DMV being the classic.

The most evil scheme is the towing, so often of tourists. Officially a direct kickback to the PD. But the corruption just begins there.
