September 7 | Treasure Chest Fest: What started off as a brettanomyces-spiked Belgian IPA brewed to raise funds to support local Susan G. Komen 3-Day walking team Beer for Boobs has since sprouted into a full-on annual festival with multiple breweries and foodmakers pitching in to support breast cancer research. | Green Flash Brewing Company, 6550 Mira Mesa Boulevard, Mira Mesa, 12 p.m.

September 7 | Beer for Boobs Fest: As evidenced by the fact they have two charity fests going on the same day, there’s no shortage of businesses looking to help out the aforementioned Beer for Boobs. This one will take place in the parking lot of 57 Degrees and feature food, music, a raffle and, of course, plenty of beer. | San Diego Brew Project, 1735 Hancock Street, Mission Hills, 1 p.m.

September 7 | Meet in the Middle: CANCELED San Diego’s craft beer scene is as spread apart as it is robust. Getting to far out locales like Alpine, Oceanside and Otay Mesa can be tough. Realizing this, breweries from the county’s outer reaches are converging in Mission Valley to make it easy for imbibers to check them out in a central spot.
