Taking place from November 1 through 10, San Diego Beer Week consists of hundreds of events of all types and sizes. For those having trouble choosing, I’ll be providing my best bet events on a day-by-day basis. Keep in mind, I’m only choosing from events that haven’t already sold out (some are just too good). If you see something you like, jump on it. Or find something more in line with your personal tastes. No matter what, get in there and enjoy your Beer Week experience!

Rare Beer Breakfast: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, especially the first day of Beer Week when Stone Brewing Co. adds hard-to-find beers to the equation and offers a buffet that helps gird beerophiles' stomachs for ten days of indulgence. | Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens, 1999 Citracado Parkway, Escondido, 9 a.m.

Brewmaster’s Brunch: Karl Strauss brewmaster Paul Segura and company have MIHO Gastrotruck dropping in to prepare a seven-course menu to pair with some of their most special brews. Bonus: Attendees get a ticket for a free pint they can cash in at a later date. | Karl Strauss Tasting Room, 5985 Santa Fe Road, Pacific Beach, 9 a.m.

One-Year Anniversary: In its first year in business, the little brewpub that could, Amplified Ale Works, has! Celebrate with a wide array of their beers including an anniversary imperial IPA and their first brew aged in cab barrels and soured with fruit, brett and lacto. | Amplified Ale Works, 4150 Mission Boulevard, #208, Pacific Beach, 6 p.m.

San Diego Brewers Guild Festival VIP Brewer Takeover: The official Beer Week kickoff is breaking into two sessions this time around. The first will bring out brewers from nearly every local company and some of the rarest beer they can offer for a special night on San Diego Bay. | Broadway Pier, 1000 North Harbor Drive, Downtown, 6 p.m.
