Every now and then a fitness idea arrives which cannot be ignored. That is not to say that it shouldn’t be ignored but that it is impossible to ignore.

There is a vast menagerie of infomercials introducing us to new fitness ideas. Some are selling a product some are selling a system.

Of course there is also YouTube for those products and systems that haven’t been picked up yet.

I present, for your consideration, Prancercise.

When I watched the YouTube clip I was shocked that comments had been disabled. Who wouldn’t want to comment on this?

I looked at the expanded description and saw that there is a book available and a website at well.

I galloped to the website and was surprised at the quality of the material and the philosophy behind this — uh — behavior?

It appears to be about expressing one’s own sense of self-expression and removing limiting ideas of fitness as work instead of play.

However, gods be good, this is out there.

Prancercising. No horses were harmed or even present in the making of this photo.

What’s next? Laughing yoga?
