On Halloween night at around 8 p.m. at the Ocean Beach Farmers’ Market, Todo Mundo was performing in the street. A lot of people were wearing costumes, dancing, and enjoying the beautiful music and weather.

Todo Mundo was playing their last song when all of a sudden someone in a zombie costume reached over and grabbed the money that had been collected for the band from a box right in front of the band.

The thief took off running up the middle of the street like a sprinter. Most everyone in the crowd who’d been watching the band saw the brazen act occur. Everybody who saw went wild; even the drummer and singer stopped playing to chase the thief. He was caught and beat up and the money was returned to the kitty.

Note: Though there was a police presence in the area, I didn't witness the thief being taken into custody.
