Burch better but not quite good enough yet
David Dodd 1:48 a.m., May 18
At around 1:30 p.m. on September 30, a fire broke out at a three-story residential structure on the corner of Dover Court and Mission Boulevard. Five fire companies responded; it took almost an hour to get the blaze under control. The building was still smoldering at 5:00. Nobody was injured.
The complex included two apartments. As one of the first people on the scene, I noticed it seemed as though the fire started in the core of the building, where the garage was located. Less then 20 minutes after I arrived, both floors and all four sides of the building had flames shooting out from windows.
The apartment house is now considered a hazard due to the potential for collapse.

Wow, I'm not sure what fire you were at but this fire started in the garage just after 3pm. Fire trucks were there until about 7:30pm. I know this cause I live 2 doors down. After speaking with my friends WHO LIVE IN THIS building. We know the fire was started when a battery that was charging in the garage exploded. . . . . thanks,

I value all the comments of my readers. Thank you.
In all sincerity, I hope the best for the people who lost personal belongings because of this unfortunate event. I am sure the people who lived in this building are grateful no one got hurt at this fire that started around 1:30pm.
