LA MAMA: AN AMERICAN NUN’S LIFE IN A MEXICAN PRISON
Freelance writer and news reporter Jody Hammond screens her film for the San Elijo Life program. The documentary chronicles the journey of Mary Clarke, a.k.a. Mother Antonia, who lived in a cell in Tijuana’s La Mesa Penitentiary for more than 30 years so that she could care for inmates. Hammond will host a discussion after the screening.
