Ben Hueso Donor Fined

Baldwin & Sons, LLC, and its wealthy owner Alfred Baldwin, the big South Bay developer, is paying a $400 fine to the California Fair Political Practices Commission for failing to file a so-called major donor statement for 2009. The company contributed a total of $12,850 during the year, including $2000 to the 2010 assembly campaign of San Diego city councilman Ben Hueso.

And after he writes it off as a business expense on his taxes the true fine will only be $200....................

Perhaps the fine also gives the new assembly member street cred...
